Important Instructions for GATE 2026

• Photo Instruction: The face should occupy at least 75% of the photograph. Submit a good quality, latest passport-size color photo with a white background.
• Signature Instruction: Draw a rectangular box 2 cm X 7 CM on an A4 size paper. Sign within the drawn box using a black or blue pen in running hand.
• Thumb Impression Instruction: Draw a rectangular box 3 cm X 5 Cm on A4 Size paper. Mark your left thumb impression within the drawn box.

How to Fill GATE 2026 Online Form

• IIT Guwahati has released the notification for GATE 2026 Online Application. Candidates can apply online from 28th August 2025 to 26th September 2025.
• Before applying, read the notification in the Sarkariwala Result Admission & Latest Jobs section.
• Ensure you have all the required documents handy including your handwritten notes, eligibility proofs, ID proofs, and address details.
• Prepare scanned copies of documents like photos, signatures, IDs, thumb impressions, etc., before filling the form.
• Double-check all details before submitting the application form to ensure accuracy.
• Submit the application fee as applicable to complete the application process.
