CLAT 2026 Answer Key Out – Apply Online

Overview

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has released the answer key for CLAT 2026. The exam will take place on 7 December 2025 and the admit card will be available from 22 November. Candidates who have already applied can download the key, while new applicants can still register online until 31 October 2025.

Important Dates

Application starts on 1 August 2025 and the last date to submit the online form and pay the fee is 31 October 2025. The CLAT exam is scheduled for 7 December 2025. Admit cards go live on 22 November 2025 and the answer key is released on 10 December 2025.

Eligibility & Age Limit

Eligibility requires a 10+2 qualification with a minimum of 45 % marks for General/OBC candidates and 40 % for SC/ST/BPL. All candidates, regardless of age, can apply – CLAT 2026 has no upper age limit.

Application Fee

The fee is ₹4 000 for General/OBC and ₹3 500 for SC/ST/BPL. Payment can be made online via debit card, credit card, net banking, e‑wallet, or IMPS.

How to Apply Online

Fill out the CLAT 2026 online application form between 1 August and 31 October. Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, ID proof and address proof. Review the preview carefully before submitting. Don’t forget to print the confirmation receipt.

Admit Card Details

The admit card will be available from 22 November. Download it from the official notice. It contains your exam hall details, timing and security instructions.

Answer Key Details

After the exam, the provisional answer key will be published on 10 December. You can view and download it from here. If you find any errors, you can file an objection through the portal.

Result Announcement

Results will be announced shortly after the answer key release. Candidates can check their scorecard and eligibility on the CLAT official website.
