Overview

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has launched its 15th Probationary Officer / Management Trainee (PO/MT) recruitment for 2025. The full notification, exam pattern and all other details are available on the IBPS official site. Short-term and main exams will be held in August and October 2025 respectively, with results announced by the end of the year.

Application begins: 01 July 2025

Correction window: 31 July to 01 August 2025

Eligibility

• Minimum age: 20 years (from 01 July 2025)
• Maximum age: 30 years (no break)
• Relaxation for category candidates as per IBPS rules
• Graduation with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university in India

Vacancy Details

Total posts: 5208. All posts are for the position of Probationary Officer / Management Trainee. Below is a brief snapshot of bank‑wise distribution:

  • Bank of Baroda – 1,000 PO/MT posts (405 UR, 270 OBC, 100 EWS, 150 SC, 75 ST)
  • Bank of India – 700 posts (283 UR, 189 OBC, 70 EWS, 105 SC, 53 ST)
  • Bank of Maharashtra – 1,000 posts (same as BOB)
  • Canara Bank – 1,000 posts (500 UR, 200 OBC, 100 EWS, 150 SC, 50 ST)
  • Central Bank of India – 500 posts (203 UR, 135 OBC, 50 EWS, 75 SC, 37 ST)
  • Indian Overseas Bank – 450 posts (183 UR, 121 OBC, 44 EWS, 69 SC, 33 ST)
  • Punjab National Bank – 200 posts (81 UR, 54 OBC, 20 EWS, 30 SC, 15 ST)
  • Punjab & Sindh Bank – 358 posts (144 UR, 98 OBC, 36 EWS, 53 SC, 27 ST)

How to Apply Online

1. Visit the IBPS online application portal.
2. Fill in all personal, educational and address details accurately.
3. Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature and ID proof.
4. Pay the application fee (₹850 for UR/OBC/EWS; ₹175 for SC/ST/PH) using debit card, credit card, net banking, mobile banking, e‑wallet or IMPS.
5. Preview the form before submitting.
6. After submission, print the acknowledgment for your records.
7. Check the correction window if you need to change any details.

Admit Card & Result

Admit cards for the PET and Main exams will be available on the portal on the mentioned dates. Results for the Pre‑exam, Main exam, and interview will be posted online. Keep an eye on the official IBPS website for updates.

Interview Letter

Candidates who qualify the Main exam will receive an interview letter on 09 December 2025. Print the letter and prepare for the interview accordingly.
