On 09‑12‑2025 the Railway Recruitment Board released the notification for Group D posts for the year 2025. Application openings began on 23 January 2025 and the last date to complete the application, including fee payment, is 01 March 2025. The exam will be held from 27 November 2025 to 16 January 2026, offering 32,438 vacancies across all zones.

Eligibility
Age requirements are calculated on 01 January 2025. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and not older than 36 years, with some age relaxations for reserved categories—see the official notification for details. The minimum educational qualification is a high‑school certificate from a recognised board.
Physical & Financial Criteria
All applicants must pass the prescribed physical tests. Males must lift 35 kg for 100 m in 2 minutes and run 1 000 m in under 4 minutes 15 seconds; females must lift 20 kg for 100 m in 2 minutes and run 1 000 m in under 5 minutes 40 seconds. The application fee is ₹500 for General/OBC candidates and ₹250 for SC/ST/PH/EBC and female candidates.

Result & Answer Key
The result will be declared soon after the conclusion of the exam. Once announced, candidates can access the answer key and scorecard through the official RRB website.
