The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has announced the 2024 recruitment for Sub Inspector (SI) – Confidential, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) – Clerk, and ASI – Accounts. Important Dates

Application starts on 07 January 2024 and closes on 31 January 2024. The exam is slated for 02 November 2025. Answer key will be released on 08 November 2025, while the result follows on 10 December 2025. The Police Eligibility Test (PET) for the next cycle will take place on 05 January 2026.

Eligibility

Age must be between 21 and 28 years as of 01 July 2023. Relaxation for SC/ST/PH is in line with the notification. Only Indian citizens are eligible. A graduate degree is required for SI and ASI – Clerk, whereas ASI – Accounts requires a B.Com graduate. Additional qualifications include typing, stenography, and computer courses as specified per post.
