Overview

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced the 2025 recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector (SI) Prohibition. A total of 28 vacancies are available across various categories. Candidates can start filling the online form from 27 February 2025 and complete it by 27 March 2025.

Important Dates

Form opening and closing dates are 27 February 2025 and 27 March 2025, respectively. The PET / DV exam will be held on 22 December 2025, while the main exam takes place on 31 August 2025. Admit cards become available on 14 August 2025, and results will be declared on 23 September 2025.

Eligibility

Applicants must be born on or after 01 August 2024, with a minimum age of 20 years. The upper age limit is 37 years for males and 40 years for females, with possible age relaxation mentioned in the notification. A graduation degree from any recognized university is mandatory for all categories.

Fees & Payment Mode

General, OBC, and EWS candidates pay Rs. 700, while SC/ST candidates pay Rs. 400. Female candidates with Bihar domicile also pay Rs. 400. Payments can be made online via net banking, debit card, or credit card.

Admit Card & Result

Download the admit card from the official site on 14 August 2025. After the exam, the answer key will be posted, followed by the result on 23 September 2025. Applicants must verify the results carefully and keep a copy for future job applications.
