Vacancy Details

UPSC announced a total of 1129 posts for 2025: 979 for Civil Services (IAS) and 150 for Indian Forest Service (IFS).

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not exceed 32 years as of the specified cutoff date. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories – check the notification for details.

Educational Qualification

For IAS, a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university is required. IFS needs a graduation degree in subjects like Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Agriculture, or related fields.

Application Fee

General, OBC, and EWS candidates paid Rs. 100, while SC, ST, PwD, and female applicants were exempt. Payments were made online via net banking, debit, or credit cards.
