Bihar State Eligibility Test 2025 (BSTET) is now open for applications. The exam, conducted by BSEB Bihar, tests secondary education knowledge and is essential for teachers seeking government positions. Candidates can apply online, pay the fee, and check all updates in a single place.

Important Dates

Applications go live on 19 September 2025 and close on 05 October 2025. Fees must be paid by the same last date. Admit cards will be available from 10 October 2025, while the exam takes place on 14 October 2025. Results will be released as scheduled after the exam.

Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 21 years old. The upper age limit is 37 years for men and 40 years for women (calculated as of 01 August 2025). Candidates should possess a secondary qualification, a graduation (with 50% marks and B.Ed passed or 45% marks with B.Ed), or post‑graduation with relevant credentials. Senior secondary candidates need post‑graduation marks of 50% and a B.Ed or equivalent.

How to Apply

Visit the BSTET 2025 online application form and fill in all personal, academic, and document details accurately. Upload your passport size photo, signatures, mark sheets, and certificates as PDFs or JPEGs. Double‑check every entry before you press submit, then save or print the confirmation form for records.

Fee Structure

Single‑paper fee: General/OBC/EWS ₹960, SC/ST/PH ₹760.
Both‑paper fee: General/OBC/EWS ₹1,440, SC/ST/PH ₹1,140.

Payment Mode

Fees can be paid online through net banking, debit card, or credit card.

Admit Card Details

Submit your application and fee receipt, then login at the Admit Card portal. Download your admit card on or after 10 October 2025 and bring a printed copy to the exam centre.

Result & Answer Key

After the exam, results will appear on the official website. Access the answer key once results are released by clicking the Answer Key portal.
