Overview
The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has called for applications for 191 Pump Operator posts for the year 2025. The selection will be based on written examination and interview. Candidates who meet the eligibility and qualification criteria can fill out the online form from 12 December 2025 till 12 January 2026.

Eligibility
Applicants must have passed 10th grade from a recognised board and completed a Diploma in ITI with a specialization in Machinist or Fitter. No other higher educational qualification is required.
Vacancy Details
There are 191 total Pump Operator positions. The reservation distribution is as follows: General 77, EWS 19, SC 31, ST 2, EBC 33, BC 23, BC Female 6. The remaining positions are allocated for other categories as per the notification.
Application Fees
The fee is uniform across all categories – Rs. 100/- for General, BC, EBC, EWS, SC, ST, Female, and candidates from other states.
Age Limit
Age is calculated as on 1 August 2025. Minimum age is 18 years for all candidates. Maximum age is 37 years for males and 40 years for females. Age relaxation provisions are available as mentioned in the official notification.
