The National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has released the official NALCO GET Recruitment 2026 notification. This recruitment drive is for the engagement of 110 Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) posts across various engineering disciplines. The purpose of this recruitment is to induct young and dynamic engineering graduates into the organization to undergo one-year training at NALCO’s training institute. Eligible candidates possessing BE/B.Tech degrees can submit their online applications starting from 02 January 2026 to 22 January 2026 via the official NALCO website.

Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
Educational Qualification
- Full-time First Class Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Disciplines include: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Metallurgy, Civil, Chemical, Mining, Computer Science, and Electronics & Telecommunication.
- Final year appearing candidates are not eligible to apply for NALCO GET Recruitment 2026.
Age Limit (As of 01.01.2026)
- Maximum Age: 30 years.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD (General): 10 years

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection of candidates for NALCO GET 2026 will be done through a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by an Interview.
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Total Questions: 120
- Total Marks: 120
- Marking Scheme: +1 Mark for correct answer, -0.25 Mark for incorrect answer.

- Candidates qualifying in the CBT will be shortlisted for Interview in the ratio of 1:5.
- Final merit will be prepared based on 80% weightage of CBT marks and 20% weightage of Interview marks.
Syllabus
Part A (Technical): Questions will be asked from the core subjects of the candidate’s qualifying degree (B.E./B.Tech) relevant to the discipline applied for.
- Mechanical: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design, Strength of Materials, Theory of Machines.
- Electrical: Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Circuit Theory, Control Systems, Measurements.
- Instrumentation: Process Control, Transducers, Analytical Instruments, Digital Electronics.
- Others: Similar standard engineering subjects for Metallurgy, Civil, Computer Science, etc.
Part B (General Aptitude): General Awareness, English Language, Logical Reasoning, and Numerical Ability.
