The Ministry of Railways has introduced updated guidelines for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (Executive) and Constable (Executive) positions in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) through the RPF Amendment Rules 2025. These new rules aim to align RPF recruitment standards with those of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), ensuring greater transparency and uniformity. Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit (Constable Executive): 18 to 23 years (reduced from 18 to 25 years)
• Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent
• Physical Standards:
  • Height (Male): Minimum 170 CM (increased from 165 CM)
  • Chest (Male): 80 CM unexpanded, 85 CM expanded (new addition)

Selection Process

• Computer-Based Test (CBT)
